Commissioned in
2004 and built in Holland in the style of the early passenger vessels, the 48.35
metre (158’ 6”) GRACE is a “gentleman’s yacht” in steel and aluminium.
Her classic exterior lines and traditional detailing, featuring solid teak decks
and bronze railings, are skilfully combined with all the modern electronics,
technical systems and safety equipment required for safe operation.
There are five double staterooms, all with their own bathrooms and the dining
room comfortably seats 10. The main saloon is fitted with large screen
entertainment and has large windows with low sills for outside viewing while
seated and the library has long bookshelves and a fireplace. The aft deck has
removable windows, a wet bar and large teak table for meals, while the upper
decks are perfect sun bathing and open air entertainment. Built as a
commercial vessel under Dutch flag and classed for unlimited world wide
commercial navigation by the Dutch Shipping Inspection and Bureau Veritas, GRACE
is thought to be the first purpose built yacht to achieve this. She is equipped
for pollution free cruising and has a strengthened hull, propellers and rudders
that allow her operation through ice of up to 40cm. GRACE is also fitted to
enable silent mooring and anchoring at idyllic locations without disturbance,
perfect for peaceful cruising in remote locations
