THALASSI is a
unique yacht which appeals to a special kind of yachtsman. She has been built to
cruise from Antartica to Alaska, Antibes to Antigua, and is in her element, both
at the remotest corners of the globe and also in the more familiar cruising
grounds closer to home. THALASSI combines great strength with good
performance under both sail and power. A cruising ketch designed by Ron Holland
and developed from his racing background has created an ability to perform well
in all weather conditions. The retractable centreboard allows exploration and
anchoring in shallow waters, allowing guests the freedom to truly explore areas
that would otherwise remain inaccessible.The deck layout incorporates a spacious
guest area aft of the cockpit plus a bathing platform which has a shower and
also storage beneath for the sports equipment.
The interior is both comfortable and practical, with an elegant varnished teak
finish. With accommodation for six guests in three double cabins there is also
an occasional children's bunk-bedded cabin that be can be made available on
request.
