VAJOLIROJA is a
yacht of distinctive character, inspired by the classic gentleman’s yachts of
the 1930’s.
Behind the Edwardian exterior lies state-of-the-art technology including zero
speed stabilisers, top of the range communications, Kaleidescape entertainment
system and a whole host of watersports toys. The lavishly styled Art Deco
interior evokes all the romance and glamour of a by-gone era with hints of a
pirate theme throughout.
The upper deck features gleaming teak panels, stainless steel stanchions,
steamer chairs, funnels and a glazed hatch that sends shafts of light and a
gentle breeze into the main saloon below. Generous sunbathing mattresses offer
the opportunity to relax with your favourite book, soak up the sun or just enjoy
the ever-changing views.
The main deck houses the master stateroom, the main saloon with dining area and
cinema, and a magnificent aft deck. The oval table seats 10 for alfresco dining.
Coffee tables sit behind on either side and half-moon seating hugs the stern.
Double doors lead into the main saloon where you can sink into velvet sofas and
watch a movie on demand or play one of the many vintage games. Specially
commissioned Art Deco furniture, rich feather and fur trimmed window dressings,
unique objet d’art and collectors books create a theatrical, bohemian
atmosphere.
Four beautifully appointed guest suites are situated on the lower deck
amidships. There are two double cabins and two twin cabins, one with bunks, all
with a shower room en suite. In each of the cabins silk wall panels catch the
light that streams in through the traditional Edwardian style portholes. The
atmosphere is decidedly romantic.
